What You'll
Hear:
Rhae gave his
life to Christ at age 11, learned a lot about the Old Testament in
his church
His first job
was a paper route, he learned about the importance of customer
service, he had learned about this from his grandfather who was a
blacksmith
He
always wanted to work in HR, partly with the help of a counselor in
high school
He
wrote a letter to Oral Roberts University when he was in 7th grade,
they didn't have an HR major
He
played basketball and football and track in high school, but due to
injuries didn't play for the teams
His
first job out of college was an operations supervisor for hospital
services in Phoenix
He's
always felt that HR's job is to remove barriers so workers can do
their best
Break
1: 15:05
Looking
to the future, critical skills will be understanding technology and
communication skills
Just
about every type of profession will be impacted by AI, some stats
say 1 out of 5 current jobs will be impacted
He's
lived out his faith through his work through personal prayer as
well as offering to pray with others
You may
be the only vision of God someone will have at work
He
decided to start his own staffing business in Dec, 2019 and then
Covid hit. They have 6 people in their office. They place people in
broad areas
Keep
the faith, keep your eyes on Jesus
If you
have a difficult boss, stay in prayer. Do your part, make sure your
behavior stays above board and consistent with how God would want
you to honor Him in that relationship
Favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV
This is
not an easy world to live in, God can bring us through any
challenge we might face
